Windward Point
Pack a lunch and take a hike along the rocky coast line of Windward Point or the long road that runs from North Side all the way to Island Harbour. At the far eastern tip of Anguilla is a small hill with panoramic views in all directions. This is Windward Point. earby Windward Point Beach is wild and exciting, being open to the Atlantic. While a little rough for swimming, it is great for exploring. Wear hiking boots and explore the eastern tip of the island. Climb the rock at the end of Anguilla and get an excellent view of Scrub Island. This area is at present completely desolate…take a buddy.

Blowing Point
Visitors arrive by plane at Wallblake Airport in the very centre of the island and by ferry at Blowing Point on the south coast. Blowing Point is the ferry port for Anguilla, this strip of beach has a very selcuded area to the west of the ferry that is wonderful for beach picnics and swimming. The area also has several rental villas and restaurants. Blowing Point beach provides some shade under the sea grape trees and you can stroll over to the ferry terminal bar or to Big Jim's Snack Bar. Anguilla Leeward Islands Coral island. 91 km2 (35 sq miles) in area, some 250 km (155 miles) east of Puerto Rico. The interior of the island is flat, dry and scrubby, pockmarked with salt ponds and devoid of dramatic scenery. Anguilla is one of the most paradise like islands in the Caribbean. The northernmost of the Leeward Islands, 145 miles east of Puerto Rico , the island is 16 miles long and 3 miles wide. Sandy Hill Bay
A cresent of sand on a protected bay, Sandy Hill beach is a pleasant place to sun and swim. A favorite beach of the local population. A number of villas, some rental villas line the hills around this beach. Check out the panorama of Sandy Hill beach. Just walk on beach or take along some hiking boots and head west. The beach gives way to searocks and around the point is another small spit of sand called Dropsey Bay. Not great for swimming but it has interesting rock formations.
