Little Bay
Little Bay is Anguilla’s best kept secret, a tiny quiet beach, fantastic snorkelling…
You can get there by climbing down the cliff but a better way is to take Carl’s water taxi from Crocus Bay. Little Bay is a natural fish nursery located on the north side at about the center of the island. The cliffs house seabirds feeding on the fish below. It’s difficult to reach except by boat, but worth the effort for the avid snorkler, as Little Bay shows off the rainbows of parrot fish and the silver shimmer of schools of tiny swimmers. Little Bay is on the north coast between Crocus Bay and Shoal Bay, not far from The Valley. The easiest way to get there is from Crocus Bay, where you can hire Calvin (or any fisherman) to take you there in 5 minutes.

Meads Bay
Meads Bay is Anguilla’s most popular Beaches. Meads Bay is certainly not crowded - some of the hotels are a good five-minute walk from their nearest neighbor. The bay is backed by a salt pond for most of its length. There are annual boat races from the beach on the first Thursday in August.
Windward Point
Pack a lunch and take a hike along the rocky coast line of Windward Point or the long road that runs from North Side all the way to Island Harbour. At the far eastern tip of Anguilla is a small hill with panoramic views in all directions. This is Windward Point. earby Windward Point Beach is wild and exciting, being open to the Atlantic. While a little rough for swimming, it is great for exploring. Wear hiking boots and explore the eastern tip of the island. Climb the rock at the end of Anguilla and get an excellent view
Shoal Bay West
A much quieter beach than its easterly namesake, but equally beautiful with a perfect crescent shaped bay, fine white sand with sometimes exposed rock, good swimming, and views to St Martin. There is a beach restaurant and two of Anguilla’s architecturally striking resorts.
Little Harbour
Little Bay is located near Crocus Bay and the Valley, but it feels very secluded and is a favorite spot for boat excursions and snorkeling. Little Harbour is the most protected bay in Anguilla, but very shallow. We sailed our Laser sailboat here when we didn't know what we were doing and needed to practice tipping it over and righting it. The bottom is more like a lake bottom than the bright white sand of most bays.
Shoal Bay East
Shoal Bay in the east is the most popular beach on Anguilla. This means that a good portion of the beach is lined with beach bars, small resorts and umbrellas. Fortunately they seem to blend into the background and actually come in handy when you are ready for lunch. Elodias,Maderimans and Uncle Ernies have good food at the right price and shade.
