Rendezvous Bay
One the most spectacular beaches on Anguilla is Rendezvous Bay Beach. This long perfect crescent faces St. Martin and has plenty of room for three resorts, while still having long stretches of undeveloped beach. Going from east to west on the bay, the first resort we come to is the Rendezvous Bay Hotel, which has suites directly on the sand and also on the rocky shoreline adjacent to the beach (where there is also a restaurant, Cedar Grove. Windward Point
Pack a lunch and take a hike along the rocky coast line of Windward Point or the long road that runs from North Side all the way to Island Harbour. At the far eastern tip of Anguilla is a small hill with panoramic views in all directions. This is Windward Point. earby Windward Point Beach is wild and exciting, being open to the Atlantic. While a little rough for swimming, it is great for exploring. Wear hiking boots and explore the eastern tip of the island. Climb the rock at the end of Anguilla and get an excellent view
Savannah Bay
The Savannah bay is usually shallow and sandy along the shore, but strong weather can change the bay bottom. The swimming is excellent, but as with all Atlantic beaches, the currents and surf can be strong at certain times of the year. It is located on the eastern end of the island, Savannah Bay is a long sweeping cresent beach backed by sand dunes. At present this beach has one beach bar and an occasional small fishing boat.
